Gratitude
Gratitude comes from the Latin word “gratus” meaning “thankful”. Being grateful is a feeling of appreciation for acts of kindness and thankfulness for what we have.
Gratitude is the ability of noticing the positive things in your life, both big and small, and paying attention to the good around you. We express it through words or actions, like saying thank you, performing acts of kindness, or simply acknowledging the positive impact of others.
Why are we spending time describing gratitude ???
Because expressing our gratitude acknowledges the time, effort, and care that Mother Susan and Dr. D invested in their ministry at St. Johns, sharing with us their love, vision, and understanding of scripture.
Their dedication was an incredible positive impact to our congregation.
And for that we will be forever Grateful.
