Bible Text: John 12:20-33 | The real St. Patrick did chug green beer or play with snakes.  He did, however, give up a life of comfort and nobility to serve Christ in Ireland, a place where he spent 6 years as a slave.  Patrick understood what Jesus meant when he told us to “hate” this life.
