Choir

Dedicated to enrichment and improvement, the music and choir at St. John’s is the “salt” of the service. The team is composed of gifted, committed musicians – journeying together. All are welcome to join us.

Choir Director

Sylvia Tammen is a native of Satellite Beach, Florida. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Russian and piano performance from the University of Georgia. After spending a year as the organ scholar under Dr. Jerry Davidson, she is excited to take on more responsibilities in the music ministry at St. John’s!

The choir rehearses on Wednesday evening at 7 PM and serves each Sunday for the 10 AM Service.
