As Christians, our call is love and care for all, especially the vulnerable, ad no where is that more important than in worship. However, we are also called to care for those who wish to worship with others, but as safely as possible.
To that end, we offer three ways to worship every weekend. On Saturdays at 5 p.m., we have a Drive-In service in our park. We set up at the outdoor altar, and folks drive in to the park. You may either sit in your car and get the service via your FM radio, or bring a chair and sit with those youcame with but carefully distanced from others. The clergy will bring communion (bread only) to your car or seat.
Sunday morning we have worship in the sanctuary where you may join In-Person or by Livestream. If you choose to worship In-Person, there are several measures in place to keep everyone safe. Everyone will be expected to wear masks, use hand sanitizer, and we will limit capacity to 45 people (25% of capacity) with proper social distancing. We have masks and hand sanitizer available, and mark off pews where people cannot sit. Everyone is asked to sign in so that we can contact trace, should that become necessary. In addition, there will be no handshaking, no hugging, no Passing of the Peace, and no coffee hour. At this time, there is also no Sunday School and no nursery. Communion will be bread only, no wine and is brought to you in your seat.
The Sunday, 10 a.m. service is also available by Livestream. Click here to go to our Youtube channel. There you will find past services as well as just the sermons. If you go to the channel on Sunday morning, around 10, the Livetream for that day will come up automatically.
We all look forward to the time that all these can be part of our gatherings again, but that time is not now.
